Notice: unless collected in person, we arrange for Canada Post to deliver new passports to clients within Canada only via registered mail.  The above standard fees have been approved to cover postage fees, as well as administrative costs. Clients can alternatively provide a prepaid self-addressed express or courier envelope (with tracking number) for the delivery of passports within Canada. Applicants outside of Canada, including Bermuda, must provide a prepaid self-addressed courier envelope.

Effective 15 January 2025:  following the recent announcement by Canada Post on 13 January 2025 of a significant increase to postage fees in Canada, the Australian High Commission has subsequently had to increase our postage fees accordingly for the delivery of passports in Canada (noted above).

Payment of All Fees

Fees are payable in Canadian dollars (CAD) only.

All offices accept payment by credit card (Visa or MasterCard only) or by debit card.
Another person may pay on your behalf, however if they are not present at your interview, they must complete and sign (by hand) our credit card authorization form.
You must present this signed form at your interview. Cash and cheques are not accepted.
